I started work on Ceramic after witnessing firsthand the frustration that EHRs cause physicians. My dad, a primary care physician, spent countless hours battling clunky software instead of focusing on his patients. I saw how technology that was supposed to help was actually hindering care.

Since 2017, I've been working to solve this problem. Not with another behemoth system, but with software that respects clinicians' time, workflows, and expertise.

Ceramic isn't backed by venture capital demanding rapid growth at the expense of quality. It's a labor of love built deliberately, with every feature designed to serve physicians rather than billing departments or regulatory checkboxes.

The name Ceramic represents our philosophy: strong yet adaptable, formed with care, and built to last. Like a skilled potter, we believe physicians should be able to shape their tools to fit their practice perfectly.

I'm building this alone for now, which means development moves at a human pace. But it also means every decision is made with physicians in mind. Not investors, not marketers, not sales teams.

If you're tired of technology that works against you rather than for you, I invite you to join this journey. Whether through feedback, early testing, or simply joining the waitlist, your input will help shape Ceramic into the EHR physicians actually deserve.
